My Baby Boy's Nursery

Hi everyone!!

So, I have been waiting so long to be able to do the following:

1.  Get pregnant.
2.  Plan my baby's nursery.
3.  Blog about it for everyone to see! :)

So, today is a dream come true for me in a way! I have looked at so many other blogs of baby nurseries and have always dreamt that someday it would be my turn, and it finally is.

There is a good chance things will still change, I'm 33 weeks pregnant so that is 7 weeks left where my anal/picky self could change things and I probably will, but for now I am happy with it.

As I have mentioned, we ended up doing Safari theme.  Here's the tour.  This memo board is on the wall when you walk in:

Here is looking in from the front door:

Here is the wall to the right:

And the wall opposite of the crib:

That banner with his name was made by my sister-in-law for the shower, it was so beautiful I had to hang it in the nursery!

Here are some close-ups:

The closet:

I did everything on a serious budget.  For anyone who doesn't know, Wal-mart has amazing deals on baby furniture and not everything is crap there. That's where we got our crib.  That was the only thing I bought brand new for the nursery (besides decorations and closet stuff from Ikea.)  The rocker was gift from my mother-in-law and the changing table I found on Craigslist. It was normally $400 from Bergstrom's and I got it for $100, AND she delivered it to me in her truck! Bookshelves were from a garage sale (as seen in my last blog post) and the love seat used to be in our living room. :)

Let me know what you think!
